Community Guidelines

At VietPair we strive to create a safe, respectful environment where adults can connect for dating, relationships, and social companionship. These Community Guidelines exist to protect users, maintain platform integrity, and make clear what is and is not allowed.

By using VietPair you agree to follow these Guidelines. Violating them may result in content removal, reduced visibility, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. We use a combination of automated systems and human review. We have sole discretion to enforce these rules.

These Guidelines form part of the Terms of Service and should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Dating Safety Tips.

The following will result in immediate permanent account termination and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement:

• Underage use or content: Anyone under 18 using the Service, or any content that involves, depicts, or solicits minors.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Any posting, sharing, soliciting, or linking to CSAM.
• Sex trafficking or coercion: Any activity that facilitates sex trafficking, coercion, threats, blackmail, extortion, or non-consensual activity.
• Commercial prostitution and solicitation: Clear offers of, requests for, or arrangements involving commercial sex or paid sexual services. VietPair does not permit profiles or messages that openly advertise or solicit prostitution.
• Third-party control / agency / pimping: Profiles or accounts controlled by agencies, managers, "pimps," or any third party who is not the individual in the photos.
• Scams and fraud: Romance scams, advance-fee fraud, cryptocurrency investment schemes, pure scam scripts, or any fraudulent scheme.
• Violent threats or doxxing: Credible threats of violence, stalking, or sharing private personal information with intent to harm.

VietPair does not promote, arrange, broker, schedule, or facilitate commercial companionship or commercial sexual services.

The platform is designed for dating and social connection. We do not take any fee or commission from any arrangement between users. Clear advertising or solicitation of paid sexual services is prohibited and will result in account termination.

If users choose to discuss or pursue any private arrangement off the platform, that is solely between those users and is undertaken entirely at their own risk and responsibility. VietPair is not a party to, and does not facilitate, any such arrangement.

You remain solely responsible for compliance with all local laws, including the laws of Vietnam and any jurisdiction in which you reside or meet.

• Advertising: Advertising any product, service, business, or external platform.
• Hate and discrimination: Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
• Violent or graphic content: Disturbing, graphic, or offensive imagery or text promoting real-world violence.
• Multiple accounts / multi-user profiles: Creating multiple accounts or profiles representing more than one person. One natural person = one account.
• Begging or soliciting financial help: Asking for money, gifts, flights, or financial assistance.
• Automated activity / bots: Using bots, scripts, or automation to message, swipe, or create accounts.
• Under-18 photos: Uploading or sharing any photo of anyone under 18, even if it is your own child.
• Political or religious debate content: Posting content designed to start divisive political or religious arguments.
• Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else or using another person's photos.

Photos on your profile are publicly visible to other users (subject to your settings — see the "Show my profile in Browse" toggle on My Profile) and must follow these rules:

• Photos must be of you only and must clearly show your face.
• No one under 18 may appear in any photo.
• No full nudity or explicit sexual acts (including implied). Tasteful swimwear/lingerie is generally acceptable.
• No political or religious figures/symbols as the focus of the photo; no promotion of illegal drugs or real-world violence.
• Heavily AI-generated or deepfake face photos may be rejected. Overly edited photos that misrepresent appearance may be removed.
• You must have the legal right to use the photos you upload. Photos must comply with local laws and cultural standards.

Photos sent in private messages are private between you and the recipient but may be reviewed by moderators if reported or flagged:

• No impersonation. You should have permission to share any photo that includes other identifiable people.
• No commercial advertising of products, services, or external platforms.
• Never send private information such as home addresses, passport/ID copies, or other highly sensitive data.
• Only send photos the recipient is reasonably likely to want to receive. Unsolicited explicit photos may result in reports and bans.
• Ordinary lifestyle photos (food, scenery, pets, holidays, gym) are fine.

• Be polite and respectful. You are more likely to receive a response this way.
• If someone does not reply or stops replying, do not continuously message them or create alternate accounts to contact them.
• Do not request or give highly sensitive personal information early in a conversation.
• Do not harass, insult, or pressure users.
• Report clear scam scripts, underage indicators, commercial prostitution, or coercion rather than engaging further.

• No promotion of commercial products, events, or external services.
• No political campaigning or religious proselytizing as the main content of the profile.
• No offensive or racist language. Focus on what you are looking for.
• Do not use your profile to slander other specific users or to beg for money/help.
• Do not share private or sensitive information (phone numbers, social handles for harvesting, home addresses) on the public profile.

• Use the Report option on profiles and in conversations, and the Block option to stop seeing or being contacted by a specific member. Providing a short reason with a report helps our moderators act faster.
• We do not notify the reported user that you specifically reported them.
• If you accidentally report someone, don't worry — we do not ban people without good reason and review.

These Guidelines protect the online environment. Offline meetings carry their own risks. Always follow good personal safety practices: video call before meeting, meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, do not share vehicles or leave drinks unattended, and trust your instincts.
